Voices. Cannons bursting through the air, booming like thunder. Waves crashing against the ship. A man pulled away by the scrape of his neck from wreckage as waves hit the bow.
Voices called out to me. “We are the Argo.” A woman’s voice. I asked her if I could make a post. She said,”Yes.”
I don’t know much else. I know about the legendary ship the Argo which was designed by Athena, its crew blessed by Hera and it was finally consecrated to Poseidon. I know of the ship which took Jason and the Argonauts in search of the Golden Fleece.
I don’t know if this was the Legendary Ship Itself, ancestors from which the myth was based or another ship with the name Argo which fought in some war or against some enemy with cannons.
Hail to the ship and its crew.
What is remembered, lives.
