Feast of Aset

Offer a feast to Aset. Cook your favorite meal for Her or offer Her your favorite take-out.

Festival of Aset of the Beautiful Arms (Isis Nephremmis)

This is a festival for the Foundation of a Temple of Aset from Soknopaiou Nesos in the Fayyum. Set up, clean or maintain your shrines today.

Coming of Aset from Phoenicia

This is from Plutarch’s work On Isis and Osiris. This may be a procession festival.

Festival of Aset of Pharos/Isis Pharia

In Alexandria, Egypt, Aset/Isis was the tutelary Goddess of the Lighthouse on Pharos Island. Light candles for Her in memory of the lighthouse. Light candles to dispel darkness in your life or the lives of others. Seek or grant refuge to those who are suffering or lost.

Weeping of Aset and Nebet Het

Read the Lamentations of Aset and Nebet Het today. Give offerings to the Two Sisters.

Festival of Navigation of Aset to Isheru

Aset (and Her retinue) are taken out in procession to the temple lake called Isheru. It is here that the raging goddess is pacified with the cooling waters. Aset is called upon as the Lady of the Primeval Ocean and the Lady of the Solar Disk.

Feast of the Two Goddesses (Aset and Nebet Het)

This festival is from Medinet Habu and Thebes. It may be a local name for the Lamentations of Aset and Nebet Het, but I’m not sure. Offer to the Two Sisters today. Read the Lamentations of Aset and Nebet Het.

Seeking of Wesir

During the Winter Solstice, Aset is out seeking Wesir in the form of a sacred cow.

Establishment of the Celestial Cow, Descent of the Dove

Celebrate Aset as the Celestial Cow. She is the Heavenly Goddess of stars and the night sky. She is the Queen of Heaven, Ruler of the Stars and the Mother of the Sun. There is also a syncretic form of Aset as the celestial cow (Aset Mehet Weret) as the Queen of the Ancestors and the Queen of the Primeval Waters.

There is a myth of how Ra rode on Nut’s back to separate the Gods from humanity too which you could incorporate if you wanted to honor Aset-Nut or Aset alongside Her Mother.

Rites of Aset/Kikellia

This festival is a procession of Aset as the Great Cow Goddess seeking Her husband Wesir.
