So I have two projects that I am working on intensively at the moment. One of them is Mother of Magic: Ancient Hymns for Aset. This book has hymns from Philae, Dendera, Soknopaiou Nesos, Shanhur and some New Kingdom texts. There is also an updated festival calendar and epithets list. I’m waiting on the cover artist and the final formatted version of the books.
The other project is Flaming Lioness: Ancient Hymns for Egyptian Goddesses. This is a collection of ancient hymns to different Eye of Ra Goddesses. So far I have hymns to: Aset/Isis, Nebet Het/Nephthys, Hethert/Hathor, Tefnut, Sekhmet, Mut, Menhyt, Nit/Neith and Seshat. I’m still collecting other material and waiting on some permissions.
