Mother of Magic: Cover Reveal!

Site of Chelsea Luellon Bolton: Author, Scholar and Poet
So, I had a small get together at my house to honor Aset (Isis), Wepwawet, and Yinepu (Anubis). My friend M. took these pictures and she gave me permission to post them here.
So I have three projects that I am working on intensively at the moment. One of them is Mother of Magic: Ancient Hymns for Aset. This book has hymns from Philae, Dendera, Soknopaiou Nesos, Shanhur and some New Kingdom texts. There is also an updated festival calendar and epithets list. I’m waiting on the cover artist.
The other project is Flaming Lioness: Ancient Hymns for Egyptian Goddesses. This is a collection of ancient hymns to different Eye of Ra Goddesses. So far I have hymns to: Aset/Isis, Nebet Het/Nephthys, Hethert/Hathor, Tefnut, Sekhmet, Mut, Menhyt, Nit/Neith and Seshat. I’m still collecting other material and waiting on some permissions.
The third project is She Who Speaks Through Silence: An Anthology for Nephthys. This is an anthology for Nebet Het (Nephthys), the Sister of Aset (Isis). This anthology has ancient hymns, a festival calendar, an epithets list, modern rituals, poetry, essays/articles and a fiction story. I’m adding more epithets and I’m almost done with the final edits.

This book has hymns from Philae, Dendera, Soknopaiou Nesos, Shanhur and some New Kingdom texts. There is also an updated festival calendar and epithets list. I’m waiting on the cover artist and the final formatted version of the books.

The tentative title is Lioness Goddess, Lioness Queen: An Anthology for Sekhmet. This a devotional for Sekhmet. Right now, I have some ancient hymns and some modern poetry. I also have a festival calendar and an epithets list. I have to wait for the permissions to include some material.
I have another Ancient Egyptian poetry book in the works, called Sky, River and Sand: Poems for the Egyptian Gods. I’m iffy on this title.

Do you remember the promise I made you?
You will never be harmed for loving Me.
This is still here.
This is still now.
I am the Goddess who made the Gods
I am Sopdet, the Star
Shining Bright in the Darkness
I am the Light that guides the way to yourself.
The parts you have lost I can regain.
But you must call out to Me.
For I am the Mother of Heru
and as I healed My son, I made this declaration:
Those who come to Me for My aid
I will help you as I have My son
I will help you like I helped My son.
Everyone is Heru.
Male, Female, Third Gender. Transgender.
All People.
For a King represents all in His Kingdom
And Heru is the King of the People
Heru represents them all.
I am the Goddess of the Throne.
I am the Goddess of Life.
I aid the disenfranchised.
I aid all who call out My Name.
So call on Me
and I will come.
Give Me an offering
no matter how small,
and I will aid you.

You need to love yourself
like a good parent
like a sibling
like a best friend
love your inner child
You are loved
You are adored
You are wanted
You are cherished
You are loved.
Do you know what it means to feel loved?
With a Hug
With a kiss
With a gesture of kindness
With a thoughtful gift
With romantic gestures
With aiding someone
Being there for someone
Petting a cat or dog
What makes you feel loved?
Hugs;
Spending time with people
Gifts
People who are there in an emergency or health crisis
Curling up with a book when it’s raining outside
Spending time with friends because you are wanted and need to be there
Good Family and Friends
Feeling loved when people do kind things for you
You need to feel loved just by existing as an awesome human
Notice all of this requires movement
You don’t sit idly by
You do
You act
You perform these tasks
So this love you crave for yourself
You must treat yourself as you would
another
whom you love
