Aset’s Magic: Anger Management

I got this heka from Aset.

Items Needed

  • Image or statue of Aset or Sekhmet
  • Offerings
  • Paper
  • Pen (not red)
  • Bowl of water
  • Salt

Pray to Aset and/or Sekhmet-Mut to help you with your anger.

Give an offering.

Write down what you are angry about.  Crumple the paper and put it in the water.

Sprinkle salt over it.

Pray to the Goddesses to relieve your anger.

Pour out the water outside and throw the paper in the trash.

Take the trash out as soon as possible.

Thank the Goddesses and eat the offerings.

Projects Update

Waiting on Permissions/Other People

I  have sent in the permissions for Lady of the Sky: Hymns for Aset from Dendera.  We’ll see what they say.  I’m still waiting.

I have been compiling all the material for this book She Who Speaks Through Silence:  An Anthology for Nebet Het (Nephthys).  I am still waiting on some submissions.  Here are  the submission guidelines: Nebet Het Submission Guidelines

A Devotional for Ra and His Daughters:  Solar Flares and Sunbeams.  Here are the submission guidelines:  Ra and His Family Devotional

Other Works in Progress

An anthology for Aset/Isis: Mother of Magic: An Anthology for Aset.  This is a devotional for Aset.  I have some ancient prayers so far, an updated epithets list and a festival calendar.

The tentative title is Lioness Goddess, Lioness Queen: An Anthology for Sekhmet. This a devotional for Sekhmet.  Right now, I have some ancient hymns and some modern poetry.  I also have a festival calendar and an epithets list.  I have to wait for the permissions to include some material.

I have another Ancient Egyptian poetry book in the works, called Nile, Sun and Moon: Poems for the Egyptian Gods.  I’m not too sure about the title.

You are Loved

You are Loved

by JewelofAset

You need to love yourself

like a good parent

like a sibling

like a best friend

love your inner child

You are loved

You are adored

You are wanted

You are cherished

You are loved.

Do you know what it means to feel loved?

With a Hug

With a kiss

With a gesture of kindness

With a thoughtful gift

With romantic gestures

With aiding someone

Being there for someone

Petting a cat or dog

What makes you feel loved?

Hugs;

Spending time with people

Gifts

People who are there in an emergency or health crisis

Curling up with a book when it’s raining outside

Spending time with friends because you are wanted and need to be there

Good Family and Friends

Feeling loved when people do kind things for you

You need to feel loved just by existing as an awesome human

Notice all of this requires movement

You don’t sit idly by

You do

You act

You perform these tasks

So this love you crave for yourself

You must treat yourself as you would

another

whom you love

Sekhmet and Ma’at

Sekhmet and Ma’at

by JewelofAset

Now. Now.
The world is not lost
Liberty is gained
through choice and action;
through love and joy;
through strength and power wielded with wisdom and compassion;
The day is not done
The war is not done
The powerful will rise
and walk this hard road
Hitler and the Nazis were demolsihed
in the 1940s.
So too, will these Neo-Nazis, these white supremecists,
these racists, these bigots,
be oblitered.
So says the Powerful One
and so says Ma’at.

Book Sales

Here is the data of book sales I have made since March of 2016.

My parents have bought one of each paperback book  (Thanks, Mom!  Thanks, Dad!).

I’m not doing this to brag or to make anyone feel self-conscious.  I wanted to see how many of each book was selling so that I could decide which types of books to focus on in the future.  And I was just curious, honestly.

Also, the Kindle books only became available recently.  Continue reading “Book Sales”
