Books Update

I don’t have enough hymns for my next hymnal book for Aset alone, so I made it into a compilation. I have hymns and inscriptions for Aset (Isis), Hethert (Hathor), Nebet Het (Nephthys), Nekhbet, Tefnut and Set (Seth). Most of the material in this book is for Aset, Tefnut and Set. The title of the book is now Beauty and Strength: Ancient Hymns for Egyptian Gods.

I changed the title of my Mut book. It is now called Sunbeams Fall From Her: An Anthology for Mut.

I’m still working on Lady of Arrows: An Anthology for Neith and Lady of the Library: An Anthology for Seshat. I’m also working on Lady of the Throne: An Anthology for Aset and Lady of the Temple: Ancient Hymns for Nephthys (2nd Edition).

Projects Update

Waiting on Permissions/Other People

I have been compiling all the material for this book She Who Speaks Through Silence:  An Anthology for Nebet Het (Nephthys).  I am still waiting on some submissions.  Here are  the submission guidelines: Nebet Het Submission Guidelines

A Devotional for Ra and His Daughters:  Solar Flares and Sunbeams.  Here are the submission guidelines:  Ra and His Family Devotional

I have sent in the permissions for Lady of the Sky: Hymns for Aset from Dendera.

Other Works in Progress

An anthology for Aset/Isis: Mother of Magic: Ancient Hymns for Aset.  This is a collection of ancient hymns and prayers for Aset.  I have some ancient prayers so far, an updated epithets list and a festival calendar.

The tentative title is Lioness Goddess, Lioness Queen: An Anthology for Sekhmet. This a devotional for Sekhmet.  Right now, I have some ancient hymns and some modern poetry.  I also have a festival calendar and an epithets list.  I have to wait for the permissions to include some material.

I have another Ancient Egyptian poetry book in the works, called Sky, River and Sand: Poems for the Egyptian Gods.  I’m iffy on this title.

Updates

A Small Update

So the Hurricane left me without power for a week.  And during that time, I was also sick with congestion and coughing, etc.  I finally made it to an urgent care center when my temperature hit 101F.  I went through medicine and antibiotics.  I’m doing much better, but I’m still sick.

So I’m going to go eat more soup now.

I hope everyone is doing well.
